Assignment: Create seventeen (17) illustrations to support the scientific dietary concepts in New York Times best-selling author Brenda Watson’s book, Heart of Perfect Health.
Challenge: The majority of the illustrations had to clearly communicate high-science concepts in an approachable manner to a widely varying audience. While the book does speak to health professionals, it was primarily written for the general public concerned about preventing heart disease through healthy eating. Some of the illustrations were intended to take on a bit of a conceptual approach, and these illustrations had to hold up alongside their medically focused counterparts.
Results: Brenda’s book continues to excel as a source for knowledge, recipes, and reference among those looking to benefit their heart health through a healthy diet.
“Adam Questell has done an outstanding job in the creation of all the medical illustrations. Adam takes our guidance and creates the most amazing pictures. This is close to my heart, as visuals are important in my teaching.” – Brenda Watson
